Every Forgekin belongs to an elemental affinity. Affinities define interactions, synergies, and the flavor of your deck.

🔥Fire

Aggressive pressure with Burn, direct damage, and high-risk offensive Forgekin.

💧Water

Adaptive control with strong Control stats, tempo shifts, and flexible status effects.

🌿Rock-Earth

Durable nature-force Forgekin built around Power, resilience, Weaken, and steady damage.

🌀Wind

Mobile elemental pressure focused on quick strikes, Control shifts, and evolving momentum.

🌑Shadow

Spirits and cursed Forgekin that pressure through tricky damage, Chaos, and disruptive effects.

Electric

Volatile high-energy Forgekin with strong stats, Chaos spikes, Stun, and chain-style pressure.

🔮Arcane

Mind-bending Forgekin that manipulate outcomes through Weaken, reduction, coin effects, and control tricks.

❄️Ice

Cold, calculated Forgekin that apply Chill, reduce Control, and punish enemies with precise damage.

☠️Toxic

Toxic attackers that stack pressure through Poison, Weaken, and lingering damage threats.

💖Love

Charming Forgekin that distract, weaken, and soften enemies rather than simply heal or protect.

Normal

Flexible Forgekin with simple, balanced effects and fewer elemental commitments.

Common

The backbone of every deck. Reliable and available.

★★

Uncommon

A step above. Stronger abilities and better stats.

★★★

Rare

Hard to find. Powerful effects that can shift the game.

★★★★

Legendary

The pinnacle. Legendary cards define strategies and eras.

POWER

How much damage this Forgekin can take (its HP). A Forgekin is defeated when its total damage equals or exceeds its current Power. Power cannot be reduced below 1.

CHAOS

Represents the instability of your forces. Add together the Chaos value of all Forgekin on your side of the battlefield. If the total is 20 or higher, you must perform a Chaos Check before attacking. Higher Chaos means higher risk — but potentially higher reward.

CONTROL

Determines how much damage this Forgekin deals with a Basic Attack.

PASSIVE

Always active while this Forgekin is in play. Passives trigger automatically — no action required. They can affect your Forgekin, your opponent's Forgekin, or the overall game state.

ABILITY

Used once per turn instead of attacking. Abilities are your strategic tool — they deal damage, apply status effects, buff allies, debuff enemies, and more. Choose carefully.

Status effects are applied by abilities and passives. They persist between turns unless removed.

🔥

Burn

Deals 1 damage at the start of its controller's turn. Does not stack. Persists until removed or the Forgekin leaves play.

❄️

Chill

Reduces the affected Forgekin’s Control by 1. Persists until removed or the Forgekin leaves play. Does not reduce Power and cannot cause defeat.

💔

Weaken

The affected Forgekin takes 1 additional damage from every damage source. Persists until removed or the Forgekin leaves play. Does not stack.

🛡️

Armor

Reduce all damage dealt to this Forgekin by 1 until the start of your next turn.

Stun

This Forgekin cannot Attack or use its Ability during its controller's next turn. It may still be swapped, and its Passive effects remain active. Remove Stun at the end of that turn.

☠️

Poison

Each application adds 1 Poison stack, up to 3. At the start of its controller’s turn, each stack deals 1 damage, resolved one at a time.

Mega

Forgekin can evolve through up to four stages. Higher evolution stages are generally more powerful but harder to field. The Evolves From / Evolves Into fields on the card show the chain.

EVOLUTION RULES

To evolve, you must have the matching lower-stage Forgekin already in play in your Battle Slot or a Standby Slot.
Evolving does not use your Forgekin play for the turn, and does not heal damage, remove statuses, or reset action history.
All damage on the Forgekin carries over to the evolved form.
All status effects on the Forgekin carry over to the evolved form.
Lower-stage cards remain underneath — only the top Evolution card supplies current stats and abilities.
When the evolved Forgekin leaves play, move the entire Evolution stack to the Scrap Pile.

IMPORTANTMetal Finish Variants are completely separate from card rarity. A Gold version of a Common Forgekin plays exactly the same as a Black version of that same Forgekin. Card rarity (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary) is determined by the card itself—not its metal finish.
