Privacy Policy

We collect only information that you voluntarily provide, plus limited technical information needed to operate and secure the site. We do not intentionally collect more than is described here.

Information you provide

• Suggest a Card: your name, email, card idea, and any artwork you upload.
• FAQ questions: your name, email, category, and question.
• Demo Feedback: your name, email, event, ratings, and comments.
• Orders: your name, email, shipping address, and order details submitted at checkout.
• Submitted deck lists: the Forgekin and Forger/Decree selections you assemble in the Deck Builder, Forge Your Deck, Custom Collector Pack, and Forger & Decree Pack builders.
• Accounts: if you join the Forge, your name and email, plus player-account and collection information you choose to save (favorites, wanted cards, owned quantities, and private notes).
• Ambassador program: your name, email, and referral activity. Referral codes you enter at checkout are used to attribute an order; they are not used to silently track you across visits.
• Newsletter signup: your email address, if you choose to subscribe.
• Uploaded artwork: image files you submit through forms or the card editor.
• Customer reviews: your display name, email, rating, and review text when you submit a product review. Your email is used only for moderation and optional purchase verification — it is never displayed publicly.

Information processed automatically

• Authentication and session identifiers managed through the Base44 application platform.
• Basic device, browser, IP-address, and request information required for hosting, security, fraud prevention, and abuse prevention.
• Limited internal site-interaction events (such as viewing the Start Here page) processed through the Base44 platform.
• PayPal transaction and payment-confirmation identifiers needed to verify and fulfill your order.
• Temporary cart and builder state held in your browser (see “Cookies and Browser Storage”).

We use the information you provide to:

• Process and fulfill orders and communicate with you about them.
• Respond to your questions, suggestions, and support requests.
• Review submitted card and artwork ideas.
• Provide account features, saved decks, and collection tracking.
• Attribute referral codes entered at checkout and calculate any associated Ambassador program activity.
• Improve the game, the website, and the player experience.
• Send optional newsletter communications if you have subscribed.

“Cookies” and “browser storage” are different technologies. Cookies are small pieces of data that a website or a third-party service may store in your browser. Browser storage (such as local storage and session storage) is a separate mechanism that web applications can use to remember information in your browser between page loads or sessions.

Forged in Fire MTCG does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral-tracking technologies. This website uses local browser storage for authentication and display preferences, and session storage for shopping-cart continuity and temporary in-progress selections. Session-stored information normally clears when the browser tab or session ends.

• Local storage may persist until you sign out, remove it, or clear your browser data.
• Session storage normally clears when you close the browser tab or end the session.
• Authentication storage is managed through the Base44 application platform, not by cookies we set ourselves.
• Cart and builder storage contains product selections, card IDs, quantities, and temporary configuration — not payment-card information.
• Shipping addresses and PayPal credentials are not intentionally stored in local storage or session storage.

We do not claim that absolutely no cookies can ever be created. When you reach checkout, PayPal and the Base44 platform may use provider-managed cookies or similar technologies for their own security, fraud prevention, and operational purposes. These are controlled by those providers and governed by their own privacy disclosures.

This is a purpose-based summary of the browser storage this site uses. We do not store access tokens, cookie values, order IDs, or personal information in a way that this inventory exposes, and no token values are shown here.

• Authentication and application configuration: sign-in state and essential app settings managed by the Base44 platform.
• Shopping-cart continuity: product selections, card IDs, and quantities held in session storage so a refresh or short navigation does not empty your cart.
• Deck Builder mode and in-progress decks: your Guided/Advanced preference and any deck you are actively building.
• Collector and pack-building selections: temporary in-progress card selections for the Custom Collector Pack and Forger & Decree Pack builders.
• Temporary Ember-claim state: short-lived session information used while claiming a Hidden Ember reward.

We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or third-party advertising or retargeting trackers. The Base44 platform may process limited application events and technical information needed to operate, secure, and understand use of the site.

• No advertising profile is intentionally created by Forged in Fire MTCG.
• No customer information is intentionally sold for behavioral advertising.
• The site includes a Facebook App ID meta tag used for Open Graph sharing; this is not the Facebook tracking SDK and does not load Meta Pixel.
• Outbound links and sharing actions to Facebook or other social media do not mean this site has installed Meta Pixel or the Facebook SDK. Clicking an external social-media link takes you to that provider, whose own privacy practices then apply.

We do not make claims about Base44’s internal sharing or processing beyond what is needed to operate, secure, and host this site.

Payments are processed by PayPal. The PayPal SDK loads only when you enter the payment portion of checkout — it is not loaded on ordinary page views.

• PayPal may use its own cookies or similar technologies for authentication, transaction security, fraud prevention, and payment processing.
• These technologies are controlled by PayPal and governed by PayPal’s privacy disclosures; Forged in Fire MTCG does not control PayPal’s cookies.
• We receive payment-confirmation and transaction information needed to verify and fulfill your order.
• We do not receive or store your full PayPal password or your complete payment-card credentials; those are handled directly by PayPal.

This website relies on a small number of trusted service providers to operate:

• Base44 — website hosting, application platform, authentication, database, backend functions, and file/media storage.
• PayPal — payment processing.
• Google Fonts — font delivery, loaded from Google’s font CDN while this site is open.

Transactional messages to registered users (such as reward-claim confirmations) are sent through the Base44 platform. If an automated newsletter or email-delivery provider is configured in the future, this section will be updated before that provider is used. We do not list Google Analytics or Meta Pixel here because they are not installed.

Each service provider may receive the minimum information necessary to perform its function under its own privacy policy and agreements.

Demo Feedback submissions may be protected using server-side request information such as IP address and browser user-agent to detect duplicate or abusive submissions.

• This processing occurs server-side, not in your browser.
• It is used for security and abuse prevention.
• It is not client-side cross-site advertising fingerprinting, and it is not used to build an advertising profile.

When you submit a customer review, we collect your display name, email, rating, and review text. Your email address is collected privately for moderation and optional purchase verification — it is never displayed publicly alongside your review.

• Review emails are not published, shared, or sold.
• Order details and PayPal information are never displayed in public reviews.
• With your consent, your chosen display name and review content may be published on our website after admin approval.
• A “Verified Buyer” badge may appear on your review if your email matches a confirmed paid order. This verification is done server-side and does not expose your order history.
• You may request removal of your published review at any time by contacting us using the details below.

We retain the information you submit only as long as reasonably necessary for:

• Order fulfillment
• Customer support
• Account functionality
• Security and fraud prevention
• Financial and business records
• Meeting legal obligations

We do not state a precise retention period here. Any specific retention period will be confirmed by the owner before it is published in this policy. We do not claim immediate deletion, because backups, order records, or legal requirements may prevent immediate removal. When information is no longer needed, we remove it or de-identify it where practicable.

You may:

• Clear cookies and browser storage through your browser settings.
• Understand that clearing essential storage may sign you out, empty your cart, or remove temporary builder progress.
• Contact Forged in Fire MTCG about personal-information questions using the details below.
• Use PayPal’s own controls for PayPal-managed privacy choices.
• Unsubscribe from newsletters through the provided unsubscribe method if newsletter delivery is active.

We do not offer controls or deletion workflows that do not actually exist. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have submitted, contact us using the details below.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will remove it.

If nonessential analytics, advertising, or marketing technologies are added later, this policy and the available visitor controls will be reevaluated and updated as appropriate before those technologies are intentionally deployed. This policy does not promise compliance with every jurisdiction worldwide.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
